A new Home for my Tiny House... eventually

Happy Thanksgiving to you all! This morning started out unusually warm and sunny for the end of November here. And I'm back just to share the video with a few details on my future home. I hope you all watch this later, and get to spend today with some family or friends.

And just a couple more shots from there.

Can you tell that little creek is one of my favorite things on the new place? :)

I was visited by this cute little wren right outside my window a couple days ago. And since I don't think I've ever seen one at my house before, that was pretty special too.

Enjoy your day all!

Enjoy your turkey dinner tonight. :-)

  6. Ariel, this is wonderful. Please create a new category for your homestead under the blog and YouTube. It will help us all because you are starting from scratch and so many can learn from you! Also we get to follow everything as if we were celebrating with you, as usual.

  7. CONGATULATIONS Ariel, and like they say around here - "good on ya". Your OWN piece of paradise, with a NICE barn even - you're going to LOVE that puppy! I'm excited for ya. Lots to look forward to. You've mentioned a couple of times about the possibility of "building a small place". If and when you get to that juncture I'd be happy to share what I've learned from building our passive-solar/SIPs home - nothing so complicated that you need a journeyman ANYTHING to "get 'er done". Best value for the investment, short AND long-term (heat the place with a candle), easy to maintain, and quick to build. Of all the homes I've rehabbed and/or built, this place truly is a cut above. Good Luck Arial!

  10. Beautiful! I just found you and am working my way through your Youtube videos from the beginning to present. I was curious about the video attached in this blog, but it won't load. Is there a video on Youtube I could see about your new homestead? God Bless you on this wonderful journey!
