I probably would not connect it to a large wood stove that can make a lot of heat, and I can't tell you it's safe. Have fun with your setup, what ever you decide to go with! It is a 3" pipe and I was planning on getting 3" pellet stove pipe but the company I am buying it from says that pellet pipes are not rated for the same temperature as wood stoves. I have also read various blogs where people say this as well. I see you use 3" pellet pipe so just wondering what your thoughts are. I've often wondered about that particular stove. I heat 400 sq ft with an old potbellied stove, using pallet wood that is abundant here. But - I'm in Florida and the cold fronts are just that, a slow moving front that lasts only a few days or a week at most. I love the dryness and radiance of using wood heat also.
