Welsh, meaning "My Nest"
I just found your blog and I had to send a note to say how much I love your tiny home! I am impressed with the storage capacity for sure. Your choices have made your home feel much larger than it actually is. Very homey and comfortable looking. Clever guest bed, but where do you store " the other piece" that fits in the space to make it into a bed? The pantry space is amazing.
Thank you! The "other piece" just slides under the main couch cushion and isn't noticeable. And I do like my pantry, I'd just like it to be a little larger.
Wow you did an amazing job with all of the storage. You have quite a bit of stuff but it doesn't seem cluttered at all. Looks like a very comfortable place to be at : )
Oh and is this a 24 foot? I'm planning on building a tumbleweed in a couple years and I'm trying to get an idea of how much space you have. I'm planning on making what you're using as a pantry bigger so I can store my bf and I's clothes in there. : )
Yes it is. And the pantry would hold a lot of clothes, the food storage is just more important for me right now. :)
Nice! I plan on building one in a couple of years. Who is your builder? Can you share the floor plans? The way your tiny home is laid out is really what I have been looking for. I like the fact that it is solar powered and with a generator.
Thank you! My house was built by Tumbleweed. http://www.tumbleweedhouses.com/ It is a customized Cypress 24.
Ariel,I have to say I love your home and all of your pictures. Fantastic photography. If I was alone your plan would work for me except I'd prefer a warm climate. I admire your desire and confidence to live somewhere with all the wild life such as the bears!!!!!!!! Congratulations and good luck with all your future endeavors.
