Snowshoeing & A Bit of what I Do For Work

Hello from Burley and I who are still very much enjoying things like long snowshoes through the woods! Thanks to our good friend Beth for snapping this great shot of us together on the last snowshoe she joined us for. Around here winter is gradually turning into spring. The snow is still quite deep in most areas, but a few cleared spots that also face south have melted out and become mud.

I hope you are all doing well and getting to do something you
enjoy as well. Just in case any of you are worried about the health situation currently, this is my personal doctor and one of the most intelligent people I personally know. And his take on the current panic. I thought some of you might find it interesting, informative, and reassuring. He's treated at least six people in various states with CORVID-19 now, and they have all recovered and are currently feeling great.

And then a follow up video to the last one that you might find informative, again from my doctor.

Now I'll stop mentioning any of this in the future as if you care, I assume you can find the "subscribe" button and automaticly get updates about new videos as they are posted. None of the video content is mine, however I have been doing camera work and editing for him for several years. We are actually in the middle of creating a 200+ video course that has been taking a lot of my time for quite a while now. As Dr. Meehan is in his mid sixties, he wanted to get some of his vast knowledge recorded so more people can hopefully benefit from it well into the future. Overall, it's been good work for me as I mostly enjoy video work and can personally attest to his great skill in healing as he's been my doctor for my whole adult life. So, let's just say I happen to know there will be a lot more stuff on taking care of one's own health in general coming up if that interests any of you. In addition to subscribing to his channel on Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLHAZtqunwhsDNlr_EX5iwQ/), if you use any of the more mainstream social media sites, new videos and info will be also be posted at:
And that's the end of my little promo for something that's related to one of my many jobs. :) I know most of my work isn't things I can actively share publicly since I do things like clean in folk's private homes and such. But this part of my work I can, so I thought some of you might be interested. I hope you all have enough work these days but are not too slammed. It seems many have been either left with nothing to do, or can't keep up at all right now.

We're over here being thankful that our regular lives are called "quarantine" apparently, so we're generally going about normal life. Best wishes for a happy and healthy day to you all!

  3. First to let you know that we continue to enjoy the tale of journey and the generosity of your spirit in sharing it. We've been so busy preparing our garden for winter, Southern Hemisphere here. We make our mulch and compost, so Autumn is a busy time. Living at sea-level we are able to grow a range of winter crops, though the typically erratic winters make it a challenge.
Keep up the great job you are doing.

  4. Thank you for the lovely pictures and for sharing your doctor's video. I am a nursing instructor which makes me one of those too busy people at the moment so your postings are a welcome and delightful relief from work for me. When the term ends( I teach online) I am going to throw myself into learning more about gardening. Take care Kim

    1. There are no recent videos in the past few months. But you're in the right place for blog posts and if you want to come over to mewe.com/i/fynyth there's usually posts and photos between one and five times a day about things we're into.

  11. Hello, I found you first on youtube and at the end of your video you gave your blog info - glad you did! I wondered about your tiny home, it's so cute! and you said you dont use your shower bc you just use the shower at the gym... roughly, without compromising your privacy and mentioning your location, just wondering how far you are from a gym, or grocery store, or the general "downtown" near you? Hopefully not more than 15 or 20 minutes? I love the parts of Wyoming Ive seen, it's gorgeous, and your sweet little tiny home is great!!
