It's only mid November, and while my area, as you probably know, is cold and snowy for much of the year, this one is currently getting off to a nice deep start! While I won't know what the whole winter will bring till spring, it's looking like the paper wasp nest location forecast of a deeper than average year might just be on track.
Cool, or should I say, cold. Glad to see you again.
ReplyDeleteBang is good, I think?

ReplyDeleteI just saw a report that there is a strong La Nina this winter which means more moisture. Although I haven't seen any yet. It was rather warm here today such that I didn't need a jacket outside.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update. Be safe and stay warm.

ReplyDeleteGlad to see that something nature wise is relatively 'normal'. Seeing you kneeling in the snow with your home in the background just seems like November to me. Hope all is well, Burley-Man is hale and hearty, and that this coming winter season treats you kindly. Stay safe and well, my friend. Terry
ReplyDeleteGuess you don't have to worry about any storms knocking out your electricity. I am really worried about Burley running out of food and having to eat elk. :)

ReplyDeleteHi Ariel!!!! Looks like shoveling and wood chopping weather!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is looking deep Ariel! I would say your winter is off with a bang. We have been warm here in PA for most of Nov. Had our first 25 degree night last night, but will be 64 tomorrow. Crazy weather here this year. Stay warm, I know you enjoy the winter though. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteHello Ariel. You got more snow than in Alaska.
ReplyDeleteNice. Or not. Depends.
Good to hear from you.
Goodness, and it's only November! I love snow, but where we live it's hardly ever seen. We're on a 9 x 5 mile tiny island called Jersey (New Jersey was named after it) in the English Channel. I miss your videos, but am glad that you and Burley are looking so well in your blog posts. Many blessings and Hugs, Caroline
